This weekend we went to Rob's cousin Ashley's bridal shower at their grandparent's lake house. It was really nice to see Rob's extended family at the shower and spend time with Ashley and Rich before the wedding. The boys were allowed to stay for the shower so Rob got to attend his first shower. He even played the games and won bridal gift bingo! Ha Ha
We decided to make a weekend of it and stay at the lake. The weather could not have been more perfect and it was wonderful to stay and relax. We got to eat our favorite lake food (Andy's) and go out on the boat. Speaking of Andy's, can you believe they are changing their name to "Highway 55"?!?! I hate changes!
We had lunch at The Pointe with Rob's mom and grandparents before we left which was awesome. It is right on the lake and right under the dock there are TONS of HUGE catfish. Pictures cannot even do it justice--it was wild! After such a relaxing weekend, I was definitely not ready to leave! But the countdown is on...only three weeks until Ashley's wedding!
